Flensburg, 4. Juli 2011. Mit 288.382 neu zugelassenen Personenkraftwagen (Pkw) wurde das Niveau des Vorjahresmonats knapp erreicht (-0,3 %). Der Anteil der privaten Zulassungen betrug 41,3 Prozent. Von Januar bis Juni 2011 wurden mit 1,62 Millionen Pkw +10,5 Prozent mehr zugelassen als vor einem Jahr.
Im ersten Halbjahr 2011 konnte der durchschnittliche CO2-Ausstoß weiter gesenkt werden (147,6 g/km). Die E-Mobilität geht verhalten voran. 1.275 Pkw mit Elektro- und 5.869 mit Hybridantrieb wurden neu zugelassen. Das sind 0,4 Prozent der Pkw-Neuzulassungen. Der Dieselanteil lag bei 46,1 Prozent. Die meisten Neuwagen sind mit Euro 5-Technologie ausgestattet (95,7 %).
Besonders größere Fahrzeuge waren im ersten Halbjahr begehrt. Im Oberklassensegment wurden +38,1 Prozent mehr Pkw neu zugelassen als vor einem Jahr. Die Geländewagen machten ein Plus von +38,0 Prozent und bei den Großraum-Vans waren es +38,9 Prozent. Im Mini-Segment gingen die Neuzulassungen um -10,8 Prozent zurück. Die Kleinwagen erreichten mit +7,2 Prozent ein Wachstumsplus. Das größte Segment bildet nach wie vor die Kompaktklasse mit einem Anteil von 24,6 Prozent, trotz des Rückgangs um -2,9 Prozent.
Fast alle Hersteller konnten von der großen Nachfrage nach Neuwagen profitieren. Porsche (+26,4 %), Ford (+17,1 %) und Opel (+15,9 %) machten bei den deutschen Marken die größten Zugewinne. VW erzielte ein Plus von +8,3 Prozent und ist bei einem Anteil von 21,8 Prozent weiterhin Marktführer. Bei den Importeuren liegt Renault/Dacia (+7,4 %) vorne, vor Skoda (+10,6 %) und Fiat (+4,2 %). Hyundai (+25,2 %) und Peugeot (-1,6 %) folgen mit fast der gleichen Stückzahl.
Neben den Pkw waren auch alle anderen Fahrzeugklassen auf Wachstumskurs. Bei den Nutzfahrzeugen waren die höchsten Zuwächse mit bis zu +53,2 Prozent bei den Sattelzugmaschinen zu beobachten. Auch der Motorradmarkt konnte sich erholen (+4,1 %). Im ersten Halbjahr 2011 wurden insgesamt 1,90 Millionen Kraftfahrzeuge (Kfz) und rund 140.000 Kfz-Anhänger neu für den Straßenverkehr zugelassen.
Mit 3,93 Millionen umgeschriebenen Kraftfahrzeugen und knapp 165.000 Kraftfahrzeuganhängern wurde das Vorjahresergebnis um +7,8 Prozent übertroffen. Die Pkw lagen mit 3,40 Millionen Halterwechseln +8,0 Prozent über Vorjahresniveau. Krafträder verbesserten ihr Halbjahresergebnis um +13,3 Prozent, Nutzfahrzeuge konnten dagegen nur minimal mit +0,2 Prozent zulegen.
