Alfa Romeo has released the first details about the Gloria concept, ahead of its debut at the Geneva Motor Show.
Jointly developed with students at the European Design Institute (IED) of Turin, the Gloria is a stylish sedan that is designed to appeal to Asian and American consumers. As such, it has sleek design with a prominent grille, a long hood and slender LED headlights. There's also curvaceous bodywork, a contrasting roofline and 20-inch OZ Racing wheels. Overall, the model measures 4700mm long, 1920mm wide and 1320mm tall with a wheelbase that spans 2900mm.
It remains unclear if the concept is equipped with an engine, but Alfa Romeo says it has been designed to accommodate a "state-of-the-art V6" or a twin-turbo V8.
The company will also launch an iPad app that allows users to select between five different body colors and wheel choices. The latter were developed by students as part of an OZ Racing project.
